Business Commute Challenge

It's not too late to add your workplace to the list of over 70 businesses and over 450 employees participating in the 2009 Business Commute Challenge.

This friendly competition gives you the chance to show how green your workplace is by logging the mileage of your alternative commute. This can be anything other than driving: bike, walk, carpool, bus, telecommute, hang-glide, etc.

Choose a coordinator for your workplace, receive a packet, get your coworkers to sign up, log the miles. On the Tuesday after the week of the challenge, two reps from your business go to an awards luncheon to meet other participants and claim fabulous prizes!

The challenge is a program of the City of Eugene Transportation Options and Commuter Solutions, coordinated by Paul Adkins.
